The second annual Rule of Law Defense Fund Senior Staff Policy Retreat took place on April 27-28 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The retreat’s welcome dinner featured renowned radio host and law professor Hugh Hewitt, who spoke about several topics including the defense of the rule of law and the future of the conservative movement. The first panel of the retreat provided attendees with an update on the fight against President Obama’s Clean Power Plan and other executive overreaches. The second panel of the morning discussed the legacy of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, what impact the vacancy will have on decisions moving forward, and the future of the Court.

The event was held at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah.
